Kerwin was a native son/jazz musician of New Orleans, La. Devoted son of Bernie William Cooper, and Barbara James Frazier. Loving brother of Philip (Diane Picot) Frazier, Keith (Yolanda Jones) Frazier, Sandra James, Robin James, Nicole James (Joseph) Francois, and Carmen Cooper. Step-brother of Shanna Jenkins Thomas, Danielle J. Ross, Tanya J.Caston, and Larry (Linda Tapp) Jenkins. Adored nephew of Irvina Alfred, Cyril Alfread, and Betty Lewis Brown. Also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends in the Jazz Music Industry. Relatives and friends of the family, also Pastor, officers, and members of Christian Mission B.C. and neighboring churches, local, state, and national jazz musicians, all social and pleasure clubs, New Birth Brass Band, Rebirth Brass Band, Treme' Brass Band, and Regal Brass Band are all invited to attend the Homegoing Celebration at Christian Mission B.C., 1477 N.
