I uploaded the original preview for this video about 2 months ago and the inspiration disappeared for me to make it until this afternoon. I decided to finish this AMV and I think it turned out better than I expected.

The main character of Yu-Gi-Oh! (all anime, manga and movies except Yu-Gi-Oh! GX) is Yugi Mutou (Yugi Moto in the English anime), a shy, pure-hearted high school student and gaming expert who possesses an ancient Egyptian relic called the Millennium Puzzle, and the Nameless Pharaoh (Namonaki Pharaoh in Japanese) or Dark Yugi (Yami Yugi, also "the other Yugi" or, later on, "Atem", his real name, revealed only near the end of the series), a darker personality held in the Puzzle. Yugi's best friends, Katsuya Jounouchi (Joey Wheeler), Anzu Mazaki (Téa Gardner), and Hiroto Honda (Tristan Taylor) are also primary characters, as well as Dark Yugi's main rival, Seto Kaiba.
Yami Yugi (闇遊戯 Yami Yūgi) / Pharao Atem ist ein ca. 3000 Jahre alter Pharao der 18. Dynastie (4Kids und deren Lizenznehmer geben das Alter mit 5000 Jahren wieder). Er ist sehr geheimnisvoll, und sein Geist lebt im Inneren von Yugis Millenniumspuzzle. In der ersten in Deutschland veröffentlichten Staffel wird am Ende sein Name, Yami (zu deutsch „Finsternis/Dunkelheit"), preisgegeben. In der Doom-Staffel wird er schlicht „Pharao" genannt. Im späteren Verlauf des Animes wird sein wahrer Name, Atem, enthüllt. Und er verabschiedet sich im letzten Duell gegen Yugi von ihm und seinen Freunden, um in die Geisterwelt einzutreten.
Unter dem Titel Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Monsters (遊戯王 デュエルモンスターズ) strahlte TV Tokyo von April 2000 bis September 2004 eine Nachfolge-Serie aus, die von anderen Sprechern synchronisiert wurde. Während Megumi Ogata die Rollen von Yami Yugi und Yugi Muto in der ersten Serie sprach, übernahm diese Rolle ab der zweiten Serie Shunsuke Kazama. Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Monsters beschäftigt sich in ihren 224 Episoden, die in fünf Staffeln unterteilt werden, hauptsächlich mit dem Spiel Duel Monsters.
4Kids Entertainment sicherte sich die weltweiten Rechte an dieser Serie, importierte sie als Yu-Gi-Oh! in die USA und nahm einige Änderungen vor, um sie für ein amerikanisches Publikum zugänglicher zu machen. So amerikanisierte man die Namen, entfernte religiöse Symbole und Gewaltszenen, sowie sexuelle Anspielungen. Auch Dialoge wurden verändert. RTL 2 strahlte die US-amerikanische Version unter demselben Namen ab März 2003 in Deutschland aus. Yugi Muto und Yami Yugi/Pharao Atem wurden in der deutschen Version von zwei unterschiedlichen Personen synchronisiert, Yugi Muto von Konrad Bösherz und Yami Yugi/Pharao Atem von Sebastian Schulz.

An AMV I made to the song "Wild Thing". My friends and I usually joke around that it's a sexy song and such, and Atem is a sexy guy. xD
As you may notice, this music video hints at four couples: Atem x Anzu, Atem x Seto, Atem x Yuugi, and Atem x Mana. They just go along with the words.
This is the first AMV that I've ever made in which I actually attempt at lip synching. I do at some parts which are relatively noticable but they're not all that good.

First of all I'm glad most like my other video to Aziza. Now here is a follow up to that. Also dedicated to Kelseyalicia. I'm actually little more proud of this video than I am of Aziza's
The woman's name is Samira. She is, was the Queen of Egypt, and Atem's Mother. She loved her son very much, and taught him everything that he knows that makes him the man we all know and love.
In this video, Atem has more questions, so he goes back to the tablet of memories in the hopes of finding the one person, who can answer them as well as for him to find comfort with. Samira's spirit, however, as been watching her son all along, and follows him. Along the way, she guides him, showing him memories, but never revealing herself till the end. (I don't have a pic of them embracing, but you get the idea...I hope)
As a bonus for you all, as well as to Kelseyalicia, there's a special piece Yugi sings to Atem, kind of sad...I cried a little when I heard it.
Like Aziza, Kelseyalicia owns Samira, as well as the pictures drawn within this video. However, the last drawing of Samira I claim! I had to try my own rendition of Samira.

Disclaimer: just for fun, not profit!! I don't own anything but the amv's creativity.
This amv has been burbling about for a long time - ever since I watched 224. With the Christmas holidays I finally had time to finish it. It's my mourning process for losing Atem and the whole series.
EXPLANATION: The first part is Yugi's feelings at losing Atem - which I felt were expressed beautifully in W.H. Auden's poem "Stop all the Clocks" as made famous in "Four Weddings and a Funeral". It was read by a man at the funeral of his life partner (also a man), so I felt it was even more fitting. Auden was himself was gay. Now before all the homophobes start bashing me for hinting at Yugi and Atem being gay, the poem speaks of deep love and hideous grief at the loss of that loved one. Atem and his "Aibou" had a deep bond of love and trust. So what if they were both male?
Anyway, the second part is the song "Leave out all the rest" by Linkin Park, which matched well what I felt Atem could have said to Yugi when taking his leave of him. In the background is what Atem is thinking about when he's talking to Yugi.
