This is PART 1 of a funny look at "on the road" filmmaking. Filmmaker Bill Day is on assignment tracking down the spread of pop culture around the world for a major broadcaster.I can't tell you the name but it starts with a big "D." But even when you work for the big boys, you have to be a guerilla filmmaker sometimes to get the job done. In this epiode, I land in Bombay India which is now called Mumbai. My job is to hook up with a local producer and camera crew then go get the shots I have on my list. All I need are some simple Street scenes, a few interviews (one with Bollywod movie star Zeenat Aman and another with the star of Sholay himself Amitab Bachan. I also need to find some pictures of hippies from the 1970's in India. It was a huge destination back then for hippies because smoking hash and marijuana was legal. So, the mission was simple and we worked extensively in pre-production to get everything done right, including the purchase of filmming permits. But once on the ground, we can't get one shot off before the police show up and say we don't have the right permits. So for the filmmaker, the question becomes "did my local producer not get the permits and pocket the cash, or are the police just looking for a bribe?" How do you respond in a situation like this? Welcome to the real world of documentary filmmaking

Those you can be the best at, think of creative ways to monetize it. — -- An exercise can be, for the next 10 days, every day think of three ways you can derive economic benefit from those things. In the end you will have 30 items to choose from.

Yes, I'm back. Sorry about the hiatus. I hope you guys enjoy this tutorial on how to make a camera dolly for only $30 to spare, and a trip to Lowe's. This dolly is most commonly used in the film industry and will give more proffesional camera movements. Just note that I got some of these items (bungie cords, drill) for free from scratch, but getting those items shouldn't cost you that much more.

Midnight Poison is the fifth fragrance in the Christian Dior Poison saga, which began with the release of the original, now-iconic Poison fragrance in 1985 and continued with Tendre Poison in 1994, Hypnotic Poison in 1998 and Pure Poison in 2004. This year's entry was created by perfumers Jacques Cavallier and Olivier Cresp, and features notes of mandarin orange, bergamot, black rose, patchouli, amber and French vanilla.
The fragrance is fronted by actress Eva Green. Green said she dislikes what she considers strong "old lady" scents and often goes without fragrance, but noted she's smitten with Midnight Poison. "It's quite fresh compared to the other Poisons - it's younger, fresher, like the commercial," she said.
