This is a video that everyone should see. For those of you who aren't familiar with who Dr. Randy Pausch is, the short story goes like this:
He is a happily married man with three very young children. He spent years working for Disney as an Imagineer who helped them develop some of their theme park attractions. He then went on to teach at Carnegie-Mellon University in Pennsylvania.
Abruptly, his life took a turn for the worse when he got cancer and fought it off after years of treatment. The cancer has since returned and has near-totally corupted several vital organs leaving him with mere months to live.
This video is his shortened speech on how not even death can bring this man down and how the dreams he sought to come true can inspire us all.

Randy Pausch set the tone at his farewell lecture at Carnegie Mellon University.
"If I don't seem as depressed or morose as I should be, sorry to disappoint you," said Dr. Pausch.
It is probably the last public speech Dr. Pausch will give anywhere. The 46-year-old computer science professor and father of three preschoolers has incurable pancreatic cancer. Doctors have given him months to live.
Yet, standing at the podium in McConomy Auditorium, Randy Pausch did not focus on impending death. Instead, he celebrated the chance he had been given to live the life he always had dreamed of.

En su caso no fue una situación hipotética: para Randy era de verdad su último discurso, ya que a sus 46 años se le acababa de descubrir un cáncer terminal que, según sus médicos, acabará con él en pocos meses.
Randy Pausch es un gran orador y su discurso se ha comparado con el último de Martín Luther King y con varios discursos memorables de John F Kennedy. Ilustró la charla con 140 diapositivas, fotos de familia, de sus héroes, de sus trabajos, hasta imágenes escaneadas de sus tumores.
